Seminar "Organic livestock and poultry - technologically, responsibly and useful"

In the framework of the implementation of the activities of the state contract No. 229/18 with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory on the theme: "Development of a regional model of organic livestock and poultry farming for the production of raw materials and the creation of food with the specified quality parameters" at the faculties of veterinary medicine and technology management 31.10.2018 The seminar "Organic livestock and poultry farming - technologically, responsibly and useful." The organizers were Dean of the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Technological Management, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor Skripkin Valentin Sergeevich, Head of the State Contract No. 229/18 with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Elena Epimakhova, Head of the Project Office of the Office of Strategic Development and Project activities of FSBEI of HE "Stavropol State Agrarian University", Doctor of economic sciences, professor Bobryshov Alexei Nikolaevich. Head of the Department of Livestock, Fisheries and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Ivan Alexandrovich Kopylov, Head of the Non-Profit Partnership of the Stavropol Union of Producers and Processors of Livestock Products Marchenko Nikolay Ivanovich, as well as employees of the All-Russian Research Institute for Sheep and Goat Breeding - a branch of the Federal State budget scientific institution "North Caucasus Federal Scientific Agrarian Centre", employees, graduate students and students of FSBEI of HE" Stavropol State Agrarian University".

Such an event was made possible thanks to the carried out scientific and economic work on the subject of the state contract. In particular, 3 scientific experiments on agricultural poultry were conducted, a blitz survey and a sociological survey were conducted, 2 articles were published in journals from the list of the highest attestation commission of the Russian Federation, 1 article in the journal of the international Web of Science, 5 articles in collections of scientific papers scientific and practical conferences, 5 acts of introduction into production and 2 acts of introduction into the educational process were issued. The relevance of the topic is emphasized by the fact that it fully complies with the global trend and program of transformation activities of Stavropol State Agrarian University into a university centre for technological and innovative development of the Stavropol Territory and serves to create and implement a regional model of a promising market FoodNet. These key points were highlighted in the presentations of the speakers: Elena Epimakhova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor on the topic: Organic Livestock: Status, Development Prospects and Relationship with the FoodNet Market, Olga Sychyova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor on the Topic: "The regulatory framework for creating food products with specified quality parameters", Maria G. Barsukova, postgraduate students of the 2nd year of study on the topic: "Technological reception for organic poultry farming . Skripkin Valentin Sergeevich noted the prospects for the continuation of work on the chosen topic and more active participation of the staff of Stavropol State Agrarian University in association with the structures of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory on the widespread introduction of the principles of organic production in the region. The second part of the seminar was practical and consisted in demonstrating to the participants and guests of the seminar the functionality of the vivarium of the Faculty of Technological Management and the progress of a series of scientific experiments on poultry sold under a state contract.
