The Pension Fund of Russia held a business game for students of Stavropol State Agrarian University

Raising the pension literacy of the population is an important task facing the employees of the Pension Fund and teachers of higher educational institutions. October 31, 2018 in Stavropol State Agrarian University for students of accounting and financial and economic faculties held a business game "Electronic public services of the Pension Fund of Russia". The event was organized by the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance.

Today, the world is becoming more mobile, and the rhythm of life is more intense, sometimes citizens simply do not have time to solve all the accumulated issues, they do not have enough time and energy. The introduction of electronic services is designed to facilitate the existing procedure for contacting government organizations.

The FIU provides the population with a significant amount of public services that can be obtained remotely, in electronic form. Representatives of the Pension Fund Office in the Stavropol Territory told the students of the accounting and finance and economics departments about the possibilities of the “Citizen’s Personal Account” and about other electronic services of the Pension Fund of Russia:

Popov Vladimir Semenovich - manager of a public institution - the Office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Stavropol Territory;

Dolgova Elena Vasilyevna - Deputy Governor of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Stavropol Territory;

Prokopova Dina Sergeevna - Head of the Press Service of the Office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Territory;

Ekimova Anastasia Alexandrovna - chief specialist, press service department of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Stavropol Territory.

The event was opened by Vladimir Semenovich Popov, who noted that raising pension literacy among young people is necessary, especially for young students, because you need to think about retirement from an early age. It is necessary to increase social literacy, to form a pension culture, to hold events on this topic.

The dean of the accounting and financial faculty, Professor Kostyukova Elena Ivanovna addressed the participants of the business game with a welcoming word. An integrated approach to improving financial literacy includes the development of insurance and pension culture.

Prokopova Dina Sergeevna told the children that the official portal of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation placed groups of services that allow citizens and organizations to contact the staff of the body without spending a lot of time and personal visits to the fund. In addition to the application, it is possible to obtain information about the payments made, calculate benefits, find out the phones for consultation with a specialist. The site offers services such as:

- Make an appointment;

- Order certificates and documents;

- Find a customer service;

- To direct the appeal;

- Ask a question online;

- Pension calculator;

- Generate a payment document.

Each of the services has its own characteristics. These services are absolutely free and available to anyone. The service is available to citizens and policyholders. The organization of services is such that anyone, even the most inexperienced user, can handle the necessary application. Appeal to these types of assistance will allow citizens and organizations to obtain the necessary information in real time.

After that, the best representatives of the students of accounting and financial and economic faculties were combined into two teams to participate in the business game.

The purpose of the business game is to increase the insurance literacy of students in economic areas. In the form of a game, training was conducted on the basics of pension insurance, allowing not only to deal with the peculiarities of working on the public services portal with the Pension Fund system, but also to learn how to control and manage pension savings.

In the process of conducting the business game “Electronic State Services of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation”, various life situations were modeled, which adequately made decisions on managing pension savings.

In parallel with the questions to the teams of the participants of the business game, the representatives of the Pension Fund held a discussion of various issues with the fans:
- How not to make a mistake in choosing an employer for employment?

- Than the salary in an envelope will turn back?

- How to control pension savings?

- How to calculate the pension and others with the help of a pension calculator.

The business game was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the prizes were distributed as follows: the 1st place was won by the team of accounting and financial faculty, the diploma of participants was awarded to the economics faculty team.

The topic of pension provision aroused great interest; students received qualified answers to all the questions asked. The participants of the event were presented with information and explanatory materials of the FIU: leaflets, brochures, a textbook.
