Agrarian University – "Financial Stars"

In Stavropol State Agrarian University an educational game "Financial Stars" took place. It was held in the framework of the All-Russian Savings Week. The organizer of the game was the Institute of Continuing Professional Education. The script was developed by teachers of the department "Financial Management and Banking". They also had a game with students of the faculty of secondary vocational education of the university and students of secondary educational institutions.

An unusual lesson was a quest. This is a mobile adventure game in which the participants at each of the stages consistently perform different, related tasks. The overall goal - to build a space rocket and earn the maximum possible amount of money in the process of its manufacture.

To form a competitive spirit, 50 participants were divided into 10 teams. Each was given its own "identification mark" in the form of badges that differ in color.

Three hours later, the teams gathered again in the common room. The team of eccentrics, consisting of first-year students of the secondary vocational education department of Stavropol State Agrarian University, coped with the task best of all. They study for "specialties" for the quest specialties - banking, accounting and finance. The names of the winners are Svetlana Zolina, Yulia Krivorotko, Yana Gordienko, Sophia Nepochatykh and Daniil Ostroushko.

“There were no losers in this game, because all participants gained knowledge about sound financial behavior. After the quest, the guys will be more attentive to their spending and family budget,” said Nadezhda Gerasimenko, regional coordinator of the regional program to improve the financial literacy of the population in the Stavropol Territory.

Within the framework of the Week of Savings, the same quest will take place in Nevinnomyssk on November 8. And in Stavropol State Agrarian will be one more game “What? Where? When?". It is also dedicated to improving financial literacy.
