From October 23 to October 26, 2018, the All-Russian industry championship WorldSkills on the operation of agricultural machinery among young professionals was held at Bashkir State Agrarian University. Competitions were held to increase the prestige of working professions and the development of vocational education. A student of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladislav Kabisov won a landslide victory.
The official closing of the championship took place on October 26 in the conference hall of Bashkir State Agrarian University. Rector of the University Ildar Gabitov congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the championship and announced the names of the winners:
- 1st place - Vladislav Kabisov (Stavropol region)
- 2nd place - Rinat Shavaleev (Republic of Bashkortostan)
- 3rd place - Oleg Sterligov (Krasnodar region)
Further, a certified expert of WorldSkills on the competence “Operation of agricultural machines” Valery Levin spoke. Summing up, he noted that participants in the competition are not only students, but also representatives of trade union organizations in the field of agriculture, those who want to express themselves and achieve high results. And in connection with the active introduction of modern technologies in the agricultural sector, the community has been assigned the task of preserving and honing practical skills.
The winners have been identified and now have the opportunity to participate in the qualifying competitions of WorldSkills Russia for the right to represent Russia at the WSI in the city of Kazan in 2019.
