Open Lecture by the Academician of RAS

For students of the “Agronomy” direction of Stavropol State Agrarian University there was held an open lecture by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the Department of General Agriculture, Plant Growing and Plant Breeding named after F.I. Bobryshev Petrova Lyudmila Nikolaevna.

A special and important place in the structure of the agricultural production of the country belongs to the grain industry and grain products. For many years, agriculture has been the main branch of the regional economy. In the Russian Federation, the Stavropol Territory is the fourth largest agricultural producer. In this regard, in practical and lecture classes with students of the direction "Agronomy", much attention is paid to the leading crop in the region - winter wheat.

On October 30, an open lecture of the Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the Department of General Agriculture, Plant Cultivation and Plant Breeding named after Bobryshev Petrova Lyudmila Nikolaevna. The lecture was attended by members of the Department of General Agriculture, Plant and Breeding named after Boryshev: head of the department PhD, Vlasova O.I., Assistant Professors Dryopa E.B., Chukhlebova N.S., Golub A.S., Donets I.A., Volters I.A., Trubacheva L.V.

According to L.N. Petrova phase of the growing season of cereal crops takes quite a considerable time interval during which the developing organs go through a number of stages. To develop effective methods of mineral nutrition, it is important to know the stages of organogenesis, i.e. education bodies. Several systems have been developed for the numerical designation of growth and development stages. Among these systems, in Russia, the Cooperman scale is most often used, and around the world, as a rule, the Fix, Zadox (Z) or Naun (Feekes, Zadoks, Naun) systems are used.

During the lecture, critical phases were identified in which the use of fertilizing, retardants, and plant protection products is most effective.
