Students of Secondary Vocational Education took an active part in the celebration of the Day of the Economist

As part of the celebration of the Day of the Economist, an intellectual quiz "Stars of Economics" was held for students of the Secondary Vocational Education Department of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The organizers of the event were the teachers of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of the Agro-Industrial Complex Professor Kurennaya Victoria Vitalyevna, Assistant Professors Rybasova Yulia Viktorovna and Cherednichenko Olga Alexandrovna.

Traditionally, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Kusakina Olga Nikolaevna addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech.

“The economist’s day has been celebrated at the economics department for more than a year, and the events held once again underline the importance and significance of the economist’s profession in the activities of organizations, in particular, and the country's economy, in general,” shared Olga Nikolaevna.

The intellectual quiz included five thematic categories that were presented with questions of varying degrees of complexity. From the very first minutes, students actively joined the game, showing increased interest. During the event, the guys showed their knowledge, erudition and showed ingenuity. The six most active students were awarded jury members and awarded sweet prizes.

Conducting such interactive activities not only contribute to the expansion of horizons, the development of creative abilities, but also the formation of professional competencies that are necessary for each future specialist.

At the end of the event, the organizers thanked all the participants and guests for their active work and wished them further success in mastering the chosen profession.
