Students of Accounting and Finance Faculty demonstrated financial literacy

On November 9, students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the team of financial and literacy quiz-game on financial literacy “Be Friends with Finances” held in the framework of the V All-Russian Saving Week of the Project of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Education in the Russian Federation ".

The event was organized by the Training Center of the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory and the team of the First Game Agency consisting of the author of active city games, educational and entertainment quests, corporate events, Fyodor Korovin and a radio host, business coach Alexandra Vostrukhina.

The team of students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University acted under the guidance of the Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management and Banking Lapina Elena Nikolaevna.

In total, 9 teams from regional universities fought at the site. During the game, participants had to not only remember familiar facts from history and literature lessons related to a financial topic (for example: what was the name of the coin in Russia, which was an elongated silver bar equal to half of the hryvnia), but also to answer today's questions: the first non-cash payment was made, which included the world's first online purchase, which means the first digit of the card number and others.

As a result of persistent struggle, the team "Pareto" of the Agrarian University took the honorable second place.

Congratulations to the guys with a well-deserved victory, which, undoubtedly, has become a vivid confirmation of the persistence, active life position and diligence of the student-financier. We wish not to stop at what has been accomplished, to strive for more, to always be successful and successful!
