Autumn Economic Ball

At the Economics Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the traditional festive event "Autumn Ball" was held. This year the celebration was held as part of the week of the economist and was devoted to the professional holiday - the Day of the Economist, established on November 11, 2015 by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina. She spoke about the importance of economic education and science in the development of individual enterprises, sectors of the region and the country, and also addressed participants with parting words, wished good luck, professional and creative growth.

Further, all those present were congratulated by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Management Yury Binatov. He spoke about the history of the formation of the Faculty of Economics, the milestones of its development and outstanding scientists.

Many talented freshmen, who entered this year in various areas of training at the Faculty of Economics, took part in the cultural and creative event “Autumn Ball”, and student tutors and heads of creative teams helped them to reveal their talents.

Freshmen presented various creative performances. These are Spanish, Russian and Caucasian dances, and, of course, modern choreography. The young vocalists of the faculty could not stand aside: the vocal-instrumental ensemble “Alpha” pleased the audience with the skill of performing musical numbers of completely different genres.

But the most exciting moment of the "Autumn Ball" was the symbolic dedication of freshmen to students of the Faculty of Economics.

The event summed up the week of the economist, held at the faculty, awarded letters to students who have become winners of the internal university essay and crossword competition.

At the end of the celebration, all first-year students, their mentors, members of creative teams were awarded with certificates of honor and sweet gifts from the dean of the faculty Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina.
