A student of Stavropol State Agrarian University successfully completed training in the "Autumn Academy of Livestock"

From November 12 to November 16, 2018 the implementation of the educational project “Autumn Academy of Livestock” for students of Russian agricultural universities on the basis of Sibirskaya EkoNiva LLC was completed. More than 80 young talents of 12 leading universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation have already participated in the project related to the field of dairy farming.

Sibirskaya EkoNiva LLC has been operating in the Siberian region since 2006. The agricultural enterprise specializes in the production of milk, as well as meat cattle breeding, livestock breeding, plant growing and seed farming. The farm has about 800 employees. The company is a breeding plant for the breeding of Holstein and Hereford cattle. The company's specialists have a high professional level and regularly undergo internships in crop and livestock enterprises in Russia, Germany, Argentina and Canada. Every year the farm organizes Field Days, animal feeding workshops, and training seminars.

From Stavropol, a fourth-year student of the faculty of veterinary medicine at our university Titov Maxim passed for the project this fall.

As part of the professional development program “Academy of Livestock”, Maxim had an internship in large animal husbandry complexes of the EkoNiva-AIC agricultural holding in Novosibirsk Region. It should be noted that, in addition to strengthening cooperation with leading agricultural universities of the country, EkoNiva strives to broaden the horizons of future specialists in the field of workflow and the use of modern technologies for milking, feeding, reproduction, treatment and keeping of cattle in livestock farms, as well as skills of work with cattle.

Students of 3-5 years of study of agricultural universities who took part in the project were offered to undergo industrial or pre-diploma practice on the basis of EkoNivaAgro LLC (Novosibirsk region) and promised to consider the possibility of further employment of students in the agricultural enterprises of the EkoNiva-AIC agricultural farm.
