Representatives of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the anniversary exhibition YugAgro

From 20 to 23 November 2018, the Kuban hosted the international exhibition of agricultural machinery, equipment and materials for the production and processing of crop agricultural products "YugAgro-2018".

The companies demonstrated the latest developments and the most demanded materials, agro-industrial special equipment and advanced technologies.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of Stavropol State Agrarian University: Ivan V. Atanov, vice-rector for educational work, professor; Alexey Nikolaevich Bobryshev, Head of the University Project Office; Dmitry Vladimirovich Ivanov, Head of the Research and Innovation Training Center; Gennady Shnatko, Head of the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies; Yury Petrovich Proskurnikov, head of the greenhouse complex; Alexander Nikolaevich Steklov, head of the planning and financial department, as well as deans and deputy deans of faculties, university lecturers.

This year, the site was divided into four thematic sections: “Agricultural machinery. Spare parts", "Equipment for the storage and processing of agricultural products", "Agrochemical products and seeds", as well as "Equipment for irrigation and greenhouses."

On the opening day of the exhibition, a plenary session “Food Exports: Strategy, Tactics and Realities” was held. The exhibition will continue its work until November 23.

Companies from the Netherlands, Spain, Canada, India, China and many others present their products. But it is fundamentally important for us that among the foreign partners in the fields of the exhibition there are 40 regions of our country, including 100 companies from Krasnodar Territory,” said Veniamin Kondratiev in his welcoming speech. The governor of Kuban also noted that the site of the international exhibition of agricultural machinery is a unique opportunity to learn from the experience of partners and competitors.

At the end of the ceremony, representatives of the Agrarian University examined the expositions of the companies CLAAS, Rostselmash, KUHN and others.
