Two days with PricewaterhouseCoopers

On November 19 and 20, 2018, students of the accounting and finance and economic faculties of Stavropol State Agrarian University, in cooperation with the international auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), took part in the open lecture “International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 10 “Consolidated financial reporting ”, business training "Secrets of the interview" and testing for the filling of vacant positions of the company.

The company has existed for more than 160 years and is part of the so-called big four audit companies. The headquarters of the network is located in London.

Global peace requires decisiveness and mobility. PricewaterhouseCoopers is doing everything to ensure that beginning specialists from any city in Russia do not miss their opportunities. Representatives of the company, head of recruitment department, Chazova O.A., manager of the audit department Bosenko Ya.V. held a master class for two days to help students take their first steps at PwC and support them in building a successful long-term career.

The event was attended by bachelors of 1-4 courses of the direction of 03/03/01 Economics and Masters of 1,2 courses of the direction of training 38.04.01 Economics. Trainees were offered the opportunity to:

- plunge into the world of PwC;

- understand how the firm's specialists help the business to solve their problems, and with which clients the firm works;

- find out what you gain by becoming part of the PwC team;

- to take part in the open lecture “International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 10 “Consolidated Financial Statements”

- master the secrets of the interview;

- Receive an invitation to PwC Summer School;

- to pass an interview for a vacancy “Internship in the audit department in Rostov-on-Don or in Krasnodar”.

Two days spent with PwC representatives provided our students with the opportunity to go through qualifying rounds for current PwC vacancies.
