Scientists of Stavropol State Agrarian University participate in the development of the State Register of Breeding Achievements

On November 21, 2018, a regional meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory on the theme: “The results of state testing of varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops in Stavropol Territory in 2018, the development of proposals for their inclusion in the State Register of Breeding Achievements approved for use by the 6th North Caucasus region and in the recommendations for Stavropol Territory for 2019".

It was attended by employees of branches of the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Committee on Tourism, representatives of leading breeding centers in Russia, employees of state-owned enterprises, as well as the associate professor at the Department of General Agriculture, Plant Growing and Breeding named after F.I. Bobryshev of Stavropol State Agrarian University Donets Inna Anatolyevna.

The following reports were made by the head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Committee of Stavropol Territory E.A. Batagova, the chief agronomist O.G. Maznitsina and the leading expert V.V. Dubin.

The meeting summed up the work of the state-owned network of Stavropol Territory in the current year and the activities of the regional branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution State Committee on Testing Crop Varieties and Hybrids. The meeting was held in the form of a discussion, during the meeting, speakers answered all the questions of those present. The State Register and the list of varieties recommended for use in production in Stavropol Territory were amended for 2019.
