The festival "Young Talents of SSAU" celebrated its 40th anniversary!

On December 3, a long-awaited event took place - a creative report of freshmen. According to the old high school tradition, novices-farmers during the first months of study prepare their own many hours long gala concert “Young Talents of SSAU” and demonstrate their skills on the biggest stage of the regional centre - the Stavropol Palace of Culture and Sports.

For the past 20 years, there is a tradition in Stavropol State Agrarian University: 2 times a year, at the end of each semester, honour the best of the best: those who clearly showed themselves in their studies, science, art or sports. And each time the solemn event is accompanied by a festive concert prepared by the students themselves.

“Every day, significant events take place at the university, and our festival is designed to unite and show visually what the university lived during the semester, what progress our students and teachers have achieved, what height has been surrendered to them. And we are tuned to the dynamics of increasing all indicators! - noted the rector of SSAU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev. - The 40th anniversary of the festival warms the soul! Glorious traditions must be honoured and continued than all those present in the hall do.

This year the gala concert was titled “My first festival”.

In the preview, the jury presented 210 issues of various genres of classical and modern art.

More than 700 students took part in the final gala concert of the festival! They showed a real creativity: there were folk and pop songs and dances, tricks and numbers of the student theatre of miniatures, slapstick and parodies, acrobatic numbers of the hip-hop battle.

The first creative height in front of the one and a half thousandth hall - the administration, teachers, students, guests from schools and universities of the city, parents - was taken! And this means that already a huge number of creative studios of the Centre for Aesthetic Education of Students of SSAU will be replenished with new artists.

At the end of the concert, the young talents were supported by their senior mentors - students who have participated in university, regional or All-Russian festivals, groups and ensembles that have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of various competitions of federal and international levels.

After a bright creative presentation, it is time to award the best students of the university with honorary medals "Glory and Pride of the University." Such an award was awarded to students who adequately manifested themselves in scientific, grant, voluntary or sports activities. Also, in a solemn atmosphere, especially distinguished students were handed orders on their transfer from the commercial form of education to the budget.
