The unanimous opinion of all the participants was that in the era of the digital economy, the demand for professional accountants will only grow, but the requirements for such a specialist will also grow. At the same time, such competences as English language skills, working with IT systems, systems thinking, teamwork, ability to work in conditions of uncertainty, multiculturalism and openness, high ethical standards and communication will come to the fore. This, of course, requires a revision of the traditional methods of teaching accountants and the development of new approaches that correspond to digital changes in education, aimed at training specialists at the international level.
