Stavropol scientists presented the University at a Scientific-practical conference in Vladikavkaz

Head of the Department of Soil Science named after Professor V.I. Professor Tskhovrebov Valery Sergeevich Tulipov of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Scientific support for the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex of mountain and foothill territories" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Gorsky State Agrarian University, which was held in Vladikavkaz. He presented a report on the topic: "Directions of Scientific and Innovative Development of Stavropol State Agrarian University".

Among the honored guests of the conference were: the Chairman of the Government of North Ossetia, Taimuraz Tuskayev, the delegation of the republics of the North Caucasus, the Stavropol Territory and the Rostov Region.

Anatoly Beshtauovich Kudzaev, vice-rector for scientific work of Gorsky State Agrarian University, doctor of technical sciences, professor made a keynote address at the conference. The report was presented on the topic: "Agrarian Science of Gorsky State Agrarian University - stages of formation, achievements, priority directions of development."

From the Dagestan Agrarian University the Vice-Rector on scientific innovative work, the Doctor of agricultural sciences, professor Mukailov M.D. made a speech. Topic: "The main directions of scientific activity of the Dagestan State Agrarian University."

From the Kabardino-Balkarian State Agrarian University, the Vice-Rector for Research, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Ezaov A.K. spoke with the report on the theme “Integration of science and education as the most important condition for the innovative development of the economy of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic”.

The representative of the Don State Agrarian University was the Vice-Rector for Research, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Gromakov A.A. He made a presentation on the topic "The main directions of scientific research at the Don State Agrarian University."

The delegate of the Stavropol State Agrarian University was the head of the department of soil science named after Professor V.I. Tulpanov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Tskhovrebov Valery Sergeevich. In his report “Directions of Scientific and Innovative Development of Stavropol State Agrarian University,” he noted that our scientists developed the Dmitrievsky type of Hereford breed of beef cattle. With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, a consortium of leading universities and research institutes in the field of studying genetic engineering has implemented a grant "Development of biotechnological methods for genomic selection when creating new breeds and types of highly productive animals." A joint project of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the research and production association "Android Technique", the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center" for the development of modern equipment for animal husbandry is planned. Also, a joint project of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Concern Energomera JSC and the Center for Biotechnology and Embryo Transplantation research and production enterprise are being developed. The university pays great attention to the training and retraining of personnel for greenhouse vegetable growing, the training of specialists in the field of horticulture, and the training direction “Fruit and Vegetable Growing” is open.
