Representatives of the Agrarian University - at the International Forum of Volunteers-2018

The final event of the Year of the Volunteer was the International Forum, held from 2 to 5 December in Moscow. The forum was attended by 15,000 volunteers from all regions of Russia and 120 countries of the world. Among them are five activists of the headquarters of the volunteer detachments of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The event was attended by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Stavropol State Agrarian University presented at the forum:

Inna Kuliyeva - Head of the Volunteer Detachment Headquarters, Head of the Volunteer Volunteer Unit;

Sofia Osipova - head of the volunteer squad "TALK";

Alena Alefirenko - activist of the volunteer group "Volunteer";

Khamzat Doskhoev - activist of the volunteer group "Volunteer";

Alina Baymanbetova - an activist of the volunteer squad "TALK".

As part of the forum, our volunteers attended discussions and master classes with the participation of leading experts in the field of civic engagement and volunteering, interactive platforms, networking sessions, an exhibition of charitable public organizations, presentations of volunteer practices and more.

Serdi forum speakers were public figures, politicians, actors of theater and cinema, representatives of charitable foundations, musicians and composers, among them: Olga Vasilyeva, Sergey Lavrov, Igor Krutoy, Oksana Fedorova, Vladimir Mashkov, Alexander Gudkov and others.

On December 5, on the Volunteer Day, a large-scale solemn closing of the forum with the participation of President V.V. Putin. Vladimir Vladimirovich noted that in the coming year the size of grants to support the volunteer movement will increase significantly. At the same time, the President called extremely important such areas of volunteering as helping people, protecting forests, protecting fauna, etc.

- All this requires, of course, certain maintenance: both administrative and financial. Volunteers themselves work, as a rule, free of charge, but in order to create conditions for their work, of course, the state must accompany this with finances, the head of state remarked.

At the end of the forum, a gala concert was held with the participation of Russian pop stars: Polina Gagarina, Yegor Krid, Mota, Feduk and others.
