Stavropol State Agrarian University does not surrender its leadership positions throughout the years of the rating (since 2015). It is followed by the Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin, and in third place - Ulyanovsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin.

Evaluation of universities was carried out on indicators:

- quoting the works of employees of the organization,

- commercialization of the intellectual product and the demand for the scientific product of the organization,

- proportion of graduates who received a referral to work.

Stavropol State Agrarian University shows high results in terms of the indicator “The proportion of graduates who have been assigned to work in the general university graduation in basic full-time educational programs” - 93.9%, demonstrating an effective employers ’request for graduates of our university.

Also, the University showed the highest results in the group “agricultural universities” in terms of the “i-citation index of the employees of the organization” (according to the Russian Science Citation Index) - 31.

This indicator speaks about the effectiveness of scientific activity of Stavropol State Agrarian University and characterizes the degree of relevance and importance of research conducted by the teaching staff.

For reference: in 2018, 444 universities were included in the “Social Navigator” survey on the topic of demand for higher education institutions, including: classical universities - 87, engineering universities (technical universities) - 126, agricultural universities - 56, universities of management (economics, finance , jurisprudence) - 59, humanitarian universities (pedagogical, philological, physical education and sports) - 68 and medical universities - 48.
