Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University - winners of the regional scientific and technical competition on telecommunications

The 4th interdepartmental regional scientific and technical seminar on telecommunication problems and a competition of scientific materials was held in Stavropol. Representatives of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in it.

The seminar was attended by employees of the Office of Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Federal District, the Stavropol branch of Public Joint-Stock Company «Rostelecom», the Stavropol branch of Public Joint-Stock Company «VimpelCom», Joint-Stock Company, «Nokia Solutions & Networks», radio factory «Signal», Joint-Stock Company «Electroautomatics», Stavropol Radio Frequency Center, Stavropol Territory Radio and TV Transmitting Center, a branch of the Golitsyn Border Institute of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the North Caucasus Federal University, South Federal University, Rostov Technical University, Stavropol College of Communications.

From the Stavropol State Agrarian University, an Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technologies, an honorary radio operator of the USSR, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Alexander Troshkov spoke at the seminar. He presented the results of his new work in the field of application of mobile information and communication technologies, namely: the use of cellular communication to form information cooperation between the subjects of the agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory.

Students from Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in a separate section. 2nd year undergraduate student of the direction of training 38.03.05 “Business Informatics” Stanislav Geft made a scientific presentation «Designing a device for automatic tracking of a tracking object with a control software application via mobile communication networks». A 3rd year undergraduate student in the area of ​​training 09.03.02 «Information Systems and Technologies» Elena Zozulya reported on her scientific results on the development of a personal identification identification system based on anthropometric mnemics with a software application in a cellular network. A third-year undergraduate student in the field of training on 38.03.05 «Business Informatics» Kristina Arizmanova made a scientific presentation «Digitization of the information-analytical environment and the transfer of formalized information in the cellular network». Student of the 3rd course of the training direction 09.04.02 «Information systems and technologies» Alexandra Selezneva reported on her scientific results in the area of modernization of the corporate cellular communication network of a peasant farm based on crypto routers.

The seminar participants visited the specialized laboratories of the department of info-communications - Electronics and circuitry of telecommunication devices, the basics of building information-communication systems and communication networks, the development of virtual instruments National Instruments, as well as a new laboratory of circuit engineering and creativity of extensive competencies «SOURCE».

In addition, the seminar summed up the scientific competition:

- Student of the 2nd year of the bachelor's degree training course 38.03.05 «Business Informatics» Stanislav Geft (lead lecturer Gerasimov V.P.) - 1st place in the nomination - the best presentation.

- A 3rd year undergraduate student in the training area 09.03.02 «Information Systems and Technologies» Elena Zozulya (Head: Associate Professor Troshkov A.M., Scientific Consultant, Associate Professor Rachkov V.E.) - 1st place in the nomination - the best scientific message.

- A student of the 3rd course of the bachelor’s degree training course 38.03.05 «Business Informatics» Kristina Arizmanova (Head Associate Professor Kuzmenko I.P., Scientific Consultant Professor Zhuk A.P.) - 1st place in the nomination - the best technical solution.

- A student of the 3rd year of the training direction course 09.04.02 «Information Systems and Technologies» Alexandra Selezneva (Associate Professor Ermakova A.N., Scientific Consultant Professor Shuvaev A..V) - 2nd place in the nomination - the best software.

- Department of Information Systems of Stavropol State Agrarian University was awarded a diploma for active participation in the seminar and competition.
