In Moscow, December 17, 2018, in the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, the official ranking of the relevance of universities in the country was held. Stavropol State Agrarian University took the first line of this rating in the category “agricultural universities”.
The event was attended by Artemy Igorevich Rozhkov, Director of the State Policy Department for Higher Education and Youth Policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Stavropol State Agrarian University at the time of the debriefing was represented by Ivan V. Atanov, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work.
The compilers of the rating are the experts of the Social Navigator project at the Russia Today Institute, specializing in exclusive international and Russian social research in the fields of education, medicine and the urban environment.
As the study showed, graduates of agricultural universities became the most popular among employers in 2018. On average, 77.4% of graduates-farmers receive a referral to work.
And among higher educational institutions of agrarian profile, Stavropol State Agrarian University showed the highest results in three indicators: quoting the works of employees of the organization, commercialization of the intellectual product and relevance of the scientific product of the organization, the proportion of graduates who received a referral for work - which made it possible to get a leader certificate (1st place) "The rating of demand for universities in the Russian Federation - 2018" in the category "agricultural universities".
