The team of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the annual Stavropol Region Weightlifting Championship, which took place in the village of Solnechnodolsk and was dedicated to the memory of the first president of the regional Weightlifting Federation, Alexander V. Korobeinikov.
More than 90 athletes from 6 districts of the region took part in the tournament.
The weight-lifters of SSAU in the team standings took the 2nd place, losing only to the team of Budenovsky district.
In the individual competition awards went to:
- weight category up to 69 kg (women):
1st place - Mukhortova Nina Vyacheslavovna, Senior Lecturer, Department of Physical Education and Sports, Stavropol State Agrarian University;
- weight category up to 105 kg (men):
1st place - Kalashnikov Danila, graduate student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources;
- weight category up to 94 kg (men):
2nd place - Tolstoukhov Vyacheslav, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Farm Mechanization;
- weight category up to 77 kg (men):
3rd place - Yarovoy Fedor, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources.
