Open lecture by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Territory and representatives of agricultural production

As part of the practice-oriented training of students of the “Agronomy” direction, an open lecture was held on the topic: “The use of mineral fertilizers in the precision farming system. State and prospects“. At the lecture, the word was given to: Oleynikov Andrei Yuryevich - Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory, Esaulko Alexander Nikolaevich - Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources and Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Ostrikov Alexander Vasilyevich - Chief Agronomist of the Kolkhoz-Kazminsky Pedigree Plant, Radchenko Viktor Ivanovich - Director for Production Issues, OOO StavropolAgroSoyuz, Sigida Maxim Sergeevich - Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences Head of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Plant Physiology.

Andrei Yuryevich Oleynikov spoke about the problems and achievements in agriculture of Stavropol Territory in the field of crop production, Aleksandr Nikolayevich Esaulko on the proper formulation of a fertilizer system for the main crops cultivated in Stavropol Territory.

Ostrikov Alexander Vasilyevich told in detail about the activities of the SEC "Kolkhoz "Kazminsky", which is located in Kochubeyevsky district of Stavropol Territory. The farm specializes in plant growing, grain and oilseed production, vegetable growing, and breeding.

From year to year, this farm achieves remarkable results, competently uses advanced technologies, applies the newest and most effective techniques offered by modern science and production. Kazminsky is one of the eight basic seed farms of Krasnodar Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture named after P. P. Lukyanenko, and has been cooperating with the French company Evralis Semans for the production of sunflower seeds, corn and rape for a long time. For harvesting and preservation, the company has modern harvesting equipment, its own storage facilities, and a calibration plant.

In the SEC it is very seriously and responsibly engaged in the production of high-quality corn seeds with the active participation of the Institute of Maize. The farm specialists even created a number of hybrids and hybrid populations that are listed in the State Register of Breeding Achievements. All manufactured products have a certificate of quality. Kazminsky has mastered and applied intensive moisture-saving technologies of growing crops, scientifically based systems for applying fertilizers and means of protection, introducing precision farming systems using satellite navigation, using new varieties and hybrids.

A great achievement in 2018 of the SEC “Kolkhoz “Kazminsky” was the receipt of a record harvest of winter wheat - 98 c / ha.

Radchenko Viktor Ivanovich - a graduate of the Faculty of Agrobiology and land resources of the Agronomy direction - reported on the experience of using differentiated mineral fertilizers in StavropolAgroSoyuz LLC and working together with scientists of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology of SSAU, as well as told students about the nominal scholarships offered by the organization and on the possibilities of further employment in the enterprises of the Agroholding.

Maxim Sergeevich Sigida spoke about the influence of fertilizer systems on the productivity of the link of grain cultivating crop rotation on leached chernozem.

At the end of the open lecture, the certificates for completing the supplementary education program were handed over: “The use of intensive technologies in fertilizer application in the system of precision and traditional farming in the areas of agronomy, plant protection and fruit and vegetable growing”.
