Activists of the volunteer unit “Volunteer” of the Stavropol State Agrarian University once again visited the Stavropol Regional Gerontological Center in the framework of the projects “The fulcrum is each of us” and “The Generation Needed”.
The grant project is aimed at adapting children without parental care, using applied arts. The Generation of Needed project is intended to help patients of the gerontological center with limited health capacities.
This time, the volunteers presented as a gift to the grandparents children's handicrafts, which were made by the hands of the pupils of the orphanage “Rosinka” in the framework of the project “The fulcrum is each of us.” A pleasant end to the annual project was the sweet New Year presents that patients received on this day from the activists of the squad.
The project “The fulcrum is each of us” was a good example of a mentoring system. In the process of making handicrafts, the pupils of the shelter have established communication with students of the SSAU, who will continue to work with this target audience, but with the help of other events.
