Employees of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University: V.V. Ageev, professor, Doctor of Agricultural Science, A.N. Esaulko, professor, Doctor of Agricultural Science, M.S. Sigida, associate professor, O. Yu. Lobankova, associate professor, Candidate of Biological Sciences, published the monograph “The Stanovoi Ridge of Intensive Agriculture - crop rotation, fertilizer, irrigation” has been published. The work was released at the expense of the university and dedicated to the anniversary of Professor V.V. Ageev.
The monograph examines the issues of the expanded reproduction of soil fertility by saturating with crops in irrigated and non-irrigated rotations. Analysis of scientific research in the long-term experiments of the North Caucasus confirms the effectiveness of the proposed way of achieving high yields, which corresponds to the concept of biologization and the principles of organic farming. The exclusive role of the scientists of the North Caucasus Federal District in the development of the theory and practice of increasing the productivity of agriculture was emphasized.
The monograph is particularly valuable for those working in the field of intensive irrigated agriculture, studying fertilizer and irrigation systems, as well as for independent work of undergraduate and graduate students studying in the areas of Agronomy, Ecology and Nature Management.
