Round table on the theme of “Taman Wines”

For the 4^th year students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the “Food from plant raw materials” round table was held on the topic “Taman Wines”. The round table was held by the technologist of Winery “Yubileinaya”, a graduate of Stavropol State Agrarian University in the direction of “Food from vegetable raw materials” Zubchenko Yevgeniy Georgievich.

LLC Winery “Yubileynaya” is a classic Russian enterprise for the production of natural grape wines, has its modern history since 1966, previously it was called LLC “Zaporozhskoye”.

The winery is located in the village of Krasnoarmeysky, Krasnodar Region, surrounded by the vineyards of the Agrofirm “Yubileinaya”. The winery is located in the heart of the wind rose of the Taman peninsula, at the junction of the Azov and Black Seas. The unique favorable climate makes it possible to grow the best grape varieties here: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Saperavi, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Fran, Sauvignon Blanc, Aligote, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel. Geographical location is one of the secrets of the success of the winery. There is a lot of sun on Taman, and harvest time can last until late autumn. This allows you to grow high-quality grapes, from which you get a full wine with rare varietal characteristics.

During its long history, the winery has participated in various Russian and international exhibitions, having won a total of more than 100 awards, which once again proves the quality of wine and the high level of skill of the winemakers of Winery LLC “Yubileinaya”.

Eugene shared his experience as a technologist at Winery “Yubileinaya”, gave a description of the range of products, focused on the technology of obtaining certain categories of wines and answered students’ questions.
