Students of the Department of Accounting learn the basics of the financial market through a game

On the eve of the Day of Russian Science, the business game “Monopoly” was held at the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The event was organized by teachers of the Department "Financial Management and Banking": Dr., Professor Yu.M. Sklyarova, Ph.D., Associate Professor L.A. Latysheva, Ph.D., Associate Professor T.V. Screbtsova, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer S.Yu. Shamrina. It was organized together with the strategic partner of the University JSC "Rosselkhozbank". The business game became part of the training activities of the additional educational program of JSC “Rosselkhozbank”: “Technologies for assessing and analyzing the creditworthiness of agricultural producers: theory and practice”, the lecturers of which are: Head of the Analysis and Assessment Department of Credit Projects of the Stavropol Regional Branch of JSC “Rosselkhozbank” Sergey Ivanovich Plotnikov and Head of Small and Medium Business Client Service Department of the Stavropol Regional Branch of JSC “Rosselkhozbank” Shchedrina Natalya Alexandrovna.

Five teams of the 4th-year students from the Department of Accounting and Finance who study finance, credit, taxes and taxation took part in a business game on the theme "Investment Strategy of the Region". Participants had to “buy up” the largest number of real estate to get the maximum rating compared with other players in the financial market. According to the results of the game, the team won, with the largest number of assets and the maximum amount of money. We thank all the teams that took part in the game. Congratulations to the absolute winner - the team "Financier". We wish the children new victories and success at study.
