Meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory

On February 15, 2019 in the city of Zelenokumsk, Sovetsky District, a regional meeting was held. The theme: “Features of the formation of a grain harvest in 2019. Recommendations for the maintenance work on the winter field. Conducting the first nitrogen fertilization.”

The meeting was attended by the Departments of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of municipal administrations, heads and specialists of agricultural organizations, peasant (farm) farms, scientific organizations, federal institutions, companies supplying mineral fertilizers.

The opening speech was made by the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory - Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov.

From Stavropol State Agrarian University, the meeting was attended by: Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Professor - Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko and Associate Professor of the Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology - Evgeny Valeryevich Golosnoy.

The Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology is the leading department at the university in the implementation of contract-based research.

Thanks to the support of the rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev, the research base of the Agrochemical Analysis laboratory is equipped with two mobile complexes for automated selection of soil samples based on the Mitsubishi L200 car, a mobile automated complex equipped with satellite positioning system and specialized software which includes: Yamaha grizzly 700 quad bike, Wintex 1000 automatic soil sampler, protected laptop Panasonic and software for work in the system of precision farming and instruments and equipment that allows you to work in this direction.

The department annually conducts soil diagnostics and agrochemical examination of 100-120 thousand hectares of arable land, 18 forms of new and traditional fertilizers for the main agricultural crops are studied on 1480 hectares of industrial experiments.
