Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted a plenum of the City Council of Veterans

The plenary session was devoted to the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland. At the meeting questions about the current work of the Council of Veterans of the city of Stavropol were also discussed.

The participants of plenum were greeted by the first deputy head of the Stavropol city administration, Yuri Vyacheslavovich Belolapenko. He noted the feat of Soviet soldiers and Russian military, congratulated on the Defenders’ Day.

The head of the department for interaction with civil society institutions of the Government of the Stavropol Territory - Vladimir Vysheslavo addressed the veterans and thanked for a peaceful sky and a stable situation in the region and the country.

At the plenum, the chairman of the regional Council of veterans, the deputy of the State Duma of the Stavropol Territory - Alexey Gonochenko and the chairman of the city Council of veterans, the deputy of the Stavropol City Council - Igor Albertovich Fataliyev made speeches.

The meeting was attended by members of the Council of Veterans of the Stavropol Territory, participants in the hostilities in Afghanistan, and heads of districts of the city. Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by the Chairman of the Veterans Council of the SSAU - Nikolay Gavrilovich Guzynin.

On the agenda the current work of the Council of veterans, as well as the upcoming elections of the governor of the Stavropol Territory were discussed.
