Participants of the Open Innovations Startup Tour were welcomed by the guests of honor: Chairman of the Stavropol Region Duma - Gennady Vladimirovich Yagubov and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor - Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev.
The first master-class was held by the adviser to the president of the Skolkovo Foundation - Pekka Villakainen.
For 2 days, investors and mentors will explore start-ups and ideas, choose the best projects. Participants in the Open Innovations Startup Tour competition will have the opportunity to compete for a cash prize, as well as take part in the Start program and receive 2 million rubles for the development of their project from the Innovation Promotion Fund, find an investor and partners. All winners will receive a complimentary ticket to Startup Village - the largest startup conference for technology entrepreneurs in Russia and the CIS countries.
Open Innovations Startup Tour is the largest project in Russia and the CIS countries, aimed at spreading the culture of technological entrepreneurship and identifying promising innovative projects. For 8 years he has been to more than 70 cities, the experts reviewed more than 15,000 applications submitted for the competition. The main goal of the road show is the development of technological entrepreneurship in the country through stimulating the growth of local investment communities, technoparks and venture business. The organizers are the Skolkovo Foundation and the non-profit organization Skolkovo Forum.
