Students and lecturers of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the regional stage of the Open Innovations Startup Tour

The regional stage of the most ambitious project in Russia and the CIS, aimed at spreading the culture of technological entrepreneurship and identifying promising innovative projects, was completed at the SSAU. The Open Innovations Startup Tour gathered more than 300 speakers, investors and start-up entrepreneurs on one platform.

The leaders who fought for the grand prize were selected in three directions. Students and lecturers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the work of all forum sites.

- The first place in the track “Industrial and energy technologies” was taken by the student of the Faculty of Electric Power of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - Ivan Boldyrev, with his project “Development of a USB moisture meter for agricultural seeds”.

- The second place in the track “Biotechnologies in medicine and agriculture” was taken by the head of the R & D and Technology Transfer Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University - Sergey Pavlovich Sklyarov, with his project “Development and implementation of an integrated environmentally sound technology for the prevention and treatment of epithelial tissue diseases”.

- The third place in the track “Industrial and energy technologies” was taken by the associate professor of the Department of Electricity Use in Agriculture of the Stavropol State Agrarian University - Evgeny Viktorovich Konoplev, with the project “Wind-solar installation of autonomous power supply with a synchronous generator with a dual-circuit magnetic system”.

Representatives of the Stavropol State Agrarian University were among the top three finalists, and received invitations to Startup Village - the largest startup conference for technology entrepreneurs in Russia and the CIS countries.

The meeting participants were welcomed by the President of the Skolkovo Foundation - Pekka Villakainen. He made special mention of the preparation of the competition at the highest level. The Stavropol State Agrarian University and the student volunteer detachment were thanked for organizing and conducting the Open Innovations Startup Tour in Stavropol.
