Students’ meeting of the Faculty of Agrobiology and land resources with representatives of production

At the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University there was a meeting of students with representatives of the Agricultural Association “Galan” of the Krasnodar Territory the Kurganinsky District, involving the involvement of students for practical training.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources and Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko and gave the floor to the First Deputy, General Director of the Agricultural Association Galan Gennadiy Georgiyevich Likhoivanov and the Director of Plant Cultivation Vitaly Anatolyevich Kovalev. The guests spoke about the prospects of their farm and about internship programs with further employment.

The close relationship of science and production is critical to the preparation of highly qualified specialists. The consolidation by students of the received theoretical knowledge in practice, in real production conditions, is the most important link in the educational process at the university. Without this stage, it is impossible to become a future professional. It is in the course of practical training students of the SSAU receive an excellent opportunity to combine the theoretical training obtained with practical skills.

At the end of the meeting, students of the 3rd and 4th courses of the “Agronomy” direction asked their questions and learned a lot about the internship in this agricultural association.
