Within the walls of Stavropol Agrarian University, the “Patriot” student centre for civil and patriotic education held a debate on the topic: “General military duty. Should it be cancelled?”Two teams participated in the debate: the Electric Power and Economic Faculties. Students defended their opinions, gave weighty arguments and answered questions.
Students attentively listened to members of the competent jury:
- Evgeny Vasilievich Tufanov - Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and History, Candidate of Historical Sciences;
- Inna Nikolaevna Kravchenko - Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and History, Candidate of Historical Sciences;
- Nikolay Gavrilovich Guzynin - Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and History, Candidate of Philosophy;
- Ivan Ivanovich Gulyak - Professor of the Department of Philosophy and History, Doctor of Philosophy.
The debates were held in 4 rounds, according to the results of which the team of the Faculty of Economics, speaking “For” universal military service, won a victory!
