Project thinking is the basis for ensuring the development of a modern organization, since it is aimed at significant and sustainable success. Instead of a stereotyped mentality that focuses on the idea and completion, project thinking requires an answer to the question “What’s next?”
On March 20, 2019, within the framework of the project week of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the Project Office of the Office of Strategic Development and Project Activities together with the Department of Project Management held a project management competition “Formation of Project Thinking”, which was attended by students of the “Management”, “State and Municipal Management”, “Agro engineering “, “Business Informatics”, “Tourism”.
The Olympiad is aimed at shaping students’ project thinking in order to improve the quality of bachelor’s training, develop their creative abilities, as well as identify gifted students and form highly qualified specialists.
The task of the Olympiad was to develop a project concept in the city of Stavropol for a potential investor. It should be interesting to residents of the city and implemented within two months.
After a public presentation of projects, the jury composed of the head of the project office of the SSAU: Doctor of Economics, Professor A. Bobryshev, Doctor of Economics, Professor N. Bannikova, Head of the Department of State and Municipal Administration and Law, Associate Professor N.V. Miroshnichenko, Dean of the Hospitality and Tourism Faculty, Ph.D., Associate Professor I. I. Ryazantsev and head of the department of project management, Ph.D., associate professor Levushkina S.V. summed up the results and presented the participants with diplomas of winners and gifts.
I place was taken by the team “Agro engineering”
II place was shared by the teams “Management”, “State and Municipal Management”, “Tourism”.
III place of honour awarded to the team “Business Informatics”.
