World Historian Day at Stavropol State Agrarian University

On March 28 the Historian's Day is celebrated around the world. It is the professional holiday of people who have linked their lives with historical science. The holiday was also celebrated by students of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Instead of the usual lecture, an interesting event was organized. It was a quiz on history. All student participants were asked about the knowledge of important events of the past. The students showed their erudition: depicted history as a picture, without using words; guessed the historical person in part of her portrait; determined which spouse of historical figures is shown in the photo; recognized the voice of the historical character in the audio recording.

The games “Historical crocodile”, “Historical improvisation” were of particular interest to the children.

The quiz allowed students to test their knowledge of the course of history, as well as to get a lot of positive emotions from communication with history teachers at the University (Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor I.N. Kravchenko, Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor E.V. Tufanov, Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor O.N. Shmatko).
