A student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University receive training at educational intensives at the Youth Center for Media and Communication of the International Association of Student Television in Moscow

MAST Media Center is a federal platform for the development of youth media in Russia. The project is implemented using a grant by the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society. The partners are: the Union of Journalists of Russia, the Association of Volunteer Centers, the social network VKontakte, the First Student TV Channel.

As part of the educational program, the 2nd year student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Maria Tkachenko, attended master classes and completed practical tasks in various media fields, ranging from writing journalistic texts, longrida and editing the material to video filming and editing of any reportage.

Master classes and trainings were conducted by high-level specialists:

Angelina Surina - teacher at Ostankino TV Higher School, chief editor of "Channel 1" and "Russia 1";

Valery Bogatova - director, producer, journalist;

Maria Fersman - a representative of the "Russia Today";

Ekaterina Zhivova - a lawyer of the channel "Prosveshcheniye."

In addition to the educational intensives, a group of students visited the Ostankino television center, where they were given a tour, showed the Museum of the Show “The Field of Miracles” and were given the opportunity to attend the filming of the program on the First Channel “Evening Urgant”.The result of the training was the creation and holding of the talk show “Without Maximalism” on the topic “Youth and Theater”. The program also included the plot of our student, where she conducted a survey “Is theater popular with modern youth?”
