In Stavropol, the project “AGRO-SCHOOL-PROF” of the National Association of Honored Doctors of the Russian Federation is being carried out. The project is aimed at the development of regional agro-technical schools with the aim of improving the skills of workers in the field of medicinal plant growing - specialists, managers, entrepreneurs and farmers.
At the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, a meeting on the possibility of joint participation of teachers and students of the university in the project “AGRO-SCHOOL-PROF” was held.
The meeting was attended by: Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Professor Morozov Vitaly Yuryevich; Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources and Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Esaulko Alexander Nikolaevich; Head of the Department of General Agriculture, Plant Growing and Breeding n.a. Professor F.I.Bobryshev Olga Ivanovna Vlasova; Associate Professor of the Department of General Agriculture, Plant Growing and Breeding n.a. Professor Bobryshev, Mukhina Olga Viktorovna and members of the National Association of Honored Doctors of the Russian Federation: Emma V. Khachaturova - Executive Director of the National Association of Honored Doctors, Minina Irina Vasilyevna - the founder of the agricultural holding “My Dream”, Nikonova Elena Borisovna - Deputy Rector of NP International Center Engineering and Innovation ”, Olga Popova, Professor, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tatyana Vyugina - Member of the Commission of the Public Council under the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation on the issues of import substitution in the Russian industry “KVIP”, Kopeliovich Galina Borisovna - chief specialist of the Scientific and Practical Center of Traditional Medical Systems n.a. Sechenov of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Chumakov Valery Fedorovich - research associate of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "North Caucasian FNATS".
The prospects of the project “AGRO-SCHOOL-PROF” were discussed at the meeting, whereby in 2035 it is planned to launch at least 25 agroparks in Russia, bringing together up to 300 thousand farms to be engaged in growing, processing and storing medicinal plants.
The Stavropol Territory has been chosen as an experimental site for opening a regional agroschool in order to train workers in this industry. In addition, the region is the base for the revival of the medicinal plant growing industry.
