A meeting of students with a cosmonaut-researcher was held at the Stavropol State Agrarian University

On the eve of the Day of Cosmonautics, Stavropol State Agrarian University was visited by Valery Ivanovich Tokarev, a graduate of the Stavropol Flight School, a cosmonaut-researcher of the Cosmonaut Training Centre n.a. Yu.A. Gagarin, Air Force Colonel, Head of Star City, Hero of the Russian Federation.

Valery Ivanovich Tokarev was given a tour around the Agrarian University. The cosmonaut examined the material and technical base and the scientific library.

Representatives of all faculties gathered in the assembly hall to listen to the story of a cosmonaut-researcher. Stavropol State Agrarian University is not the first time that it becomes a platform for meetings of young people and Heroes of Russia. The main topic of conversation, of course, was the development of the Orbit. The leading position of the Russian cosmonautics, won half a century ago, remains in its place.

At the meeting fascinating films about space and the work of astronauts were shown. Valery Ivanovich was asked many questions. Students were interested in everything: traditions, daily routine on the ISS, a sense of weightlessness and abnormal situations while working on orbit.

Valery Tokarev made 2 flights, spent almost a year on orbit, his work in outer space lasted 11 hours. For an astronaut, a galaxy is not just a word.

This meeting will go down in the history of the University. Valery Ivanovich signed photographs for everyone. The cosmonaut wished students and the university prosperity and development.
