Student Center for Сivil and National Education, in conjunction with the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication, held a mass event at the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism, dedicated to introducing foreign students to Russian traditions, customs and culture of our country.
More than a hundred students from Syria, Armenia, Egypt and other countries live and study in friendship and harmony in a large family of Agrarian University. They study disciplines, pound the books and with all their heart try to understand Russian traditions and identity.
Foreign students enjoyed Russian folk dances, solo performances, as well as presentations about popular Russian holidays. Foreign guests learned a lot of interesting things about our native region, the North Caucasus, and listened to the ancient melody of the peoples of the North Caucasus, performed on the Caucasian drum “Dole”.
In addition, foreign students were invited to play in the well-known Russian folk game "Brook", which seemed to them very interesting and exciting.
The final focus of the event was a master class on teaching Russian folk dance, in which foreigners were happy to take part!
First of all, communication between foreign students and Russian youth is a stable platform for international relations, friendship and the creation of a global scientific community.
