A student of Stavropol State Agrarian University has become a member of the expanded WorldSkills national team in terms of the Prototyping Competence

The Fablab Vector team at the Stavropol State Agrarian University, consisting of a 2 nd year student of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization Eduard Samoilov and a 2 nd year undergraduate student of Agricultural Mechanization, Fedor Zavyalyk, was trained before the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 World Championship in Yekaterinburg.

Eduard Samoilov became a member of the expanded national team in terms of the Prototyping Competence, and during trainings he will compete for the right to represent Russia in Kazan in the competence of Rapid Prototyping. This competence will become the Russian proposal for its introduction into the international program.

The national team participants are young specialists from Stavropol, Moscow and Yekaterinburg. Supervise the training of the national team: undergraduate of Stavropol State Agrarian University, winner of the 2016 National Championship, participant of the Abu-Dabi 2017 international championship - Fedor Zavyalyk, and Worldskills Russia certified expert Denis Kalugin.

“Fablab“ Vector ”is a creative laboratory of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization. It was created in 2014 to involve schoolchildren and young people in technical creativity. The laboratory is equipped with the most modern equipment for 3D prototyping, as well as 3D printers, 3D scanners, modern milling and laser machines. The practice obtained here allows graduates to master the most sought-after and prestigious specialties of the future.
