Our university was visited by Sergey Vladimirovich Sereda, the president of the association of practicing veterinarians. He examined the veterinary clinics and talked to the students. The speaker shared a great and invaluable experience in veterinary medicine. He gladly told students interesting cases from medical practice.
Stavropol State Agrarian University regularly invites leading experts of different profiles to conduct lectures and master classes. This time Sergey Vladimirovich Sereda, Honored Veterinary Doctor of the Russian Federation, shared his unlimited experience with students.
In the framework of the lecture “Dialogues on the profession”, Sergey Vladimirovich spoke about the main stages of his work and the importance of the profession of a veterinarian. Students were able to ask Sergey Vladimirovich questions.
Then a seminar “Veterinary Education: Problems and Solutions” was organized with the participation of employers in the Stavropol Territory in the field of veterinary medicine. In the course of the seminar, the main problems that veterinary higher education institutions of the Russian Federation face were touched upon, and the main ways of solving them were outlined.
The meeting ended with the presentation of the book: “Sereda Habitation: Veterinary Medicine and Not Only That.” Sergey Vladimirovich wished the students success and further professional growth.
After the educational seminar, the innovative material and technical base of the University was demonstrated to Sergey Vladimirovich Sereda.
