The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Assoc. Guzynin N.G., who introduced the participants to the main milestones of the writer's life. In his speech, the accents were made on the childhood of Andrei Mikhailovich, which was partly passed during the most difficult years of the occupation of his native village by the German invaders, and on the fact that Andrei Mikhailovich worked for 35 years as a teacher at the Department of Machines of the Federal University of Agriculture under the State Agrarian University.
Then the word was given to Andrei Mikhailovich Krupennikov. He shared his memories of various periods of past life, highlighting the difficult and tragic moments of 1941-1943 associated with the occupation by the Nazis of his native village.
The writer accompanied his memoirs with beautiful poems and brief commentaries on them. In particular, in his speech, he urged students not to be one-sided and look for themselves in themselves and discover abilities and talents they are not aware of, and develop them to a degree of perfection.
