Students of the specialization "Food from vegetable raw materials" studied the basics of enogastronomy

The 4th year students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the “Food from Vegetable Raw Materials” course of study were trained at the Institute of Continuing Professional Education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University under the program “Fundamentals of Enogastronomy” and received certificates at the end of the course.

Additional educational program "Basics of Enogastronomy" is a program that reveals aspects of wine culture.

The lecturers and video lectures on the following topics were held by teachers of the department of production and processing of food products from vegetable raw materials in the framework of the program: “Wine by style, main varieties and categories”, “Mediterranean diet and the principle of terroir in the combination of wine and food”, “Wine and Russian cuisine "," Features of Asian cuisine in combination with drinks "," Style-forming elements of feast and delicacies in combination with wines. "

In addition, Veronika Rakhmanina, a certified expert in enology and wine tasting in Barcelona, ​​a wine expert and a blogger, was invited to conduct lectures.

Veronika Rachmanina revealed to the students the historical features of the development of winemaking in Spain. The children studied the climatic conditions of growing grapes in this country and made a virtual journey all over Spain - from the northern regions on the coast of the ocean to the southern ones adjacent to Africa. Each region was characterized in terms of viticulture, winemaking and gastronomic features.
