The selection of university teams - participants of the educational island "Island 10-22" has been completed. In evaluating the teams, the readiness of universities to work in the technological development ecosystem was assessed, the final list included teams of 100 higher education institutions.
The selection was carried out using algorithms of artificial intelligence, without the intervention of experts. “When evaluating university teams, several criteria were taken into account. The greatest weight was the compliance of the university team with the recommendations on the structure and development tracks of the participants, ”explained Vasily Tretyakov, General Director of the University 20.35. “The readiness of universities to work in the technological development ecosystem was assessed: the activity of students and university staff in the NTI ecosystem, interest in using the NTI ecosystem services, and the availability of external expertise in a team.”
In addition, when ranking universities, additional criteria were taken into account: the dynamics of the number of students in technical and IT areas, activity in the field of innovation, the share of revenues from research and development and services related to scientific, scientific and technical, creative services and developments.
Moscow became the leader in the number of universities that passed the selection on the “Island 10-22” - 8 metropolitan universities successfully completed diagnostics and will become participants in the intensive. In second place is St. Petersburg with five universities, followed by Tomsk (4 universities). Three universities each represent Samara, Voronezh, and Ulyanovsk.
The educational intensive “Island 10-22” will be held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation on July 10-22 in Moscow, at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Its goal is the creation and development of teams of regional universities that will be able to implement systemic changes in the field of training for technological development. Leaders of digital projects in the field of education will also take part in intensively: start-ups, technology companies that are ready to offer their solutions for the higher education system and become participants in the emerging market of scientific and technological information in the field of educational technologies EduNet.
The first educational intensive “Island 10-21” was held in the summer of 2018 on Russky Island and became an important event for hundreds of Russian technological projects. 1000 businessmen, investors, inventors, scientists, students and talented schoolchildren became participants of the “Island”. Here, for the first time, fundamentally new approaches and practices of intensive learning were developed using artificial intelligence technologies, collecting digital traces, and forming individual development trajectories.
