The regional powerlifting championship of Russia was held in Stavropol State Agrarian University

The competition was attended by 146 athletes of the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts.

At the competitions, honoured guests presented certificates of the Masters of Sports of Russia to the undergraduate of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Skrynnikov Vyacheslav and a graduate of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, Korolkov Vladimir.

Athletes were congratulated by:

- Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor - Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev

- Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Stavropol Territory - Irina Vladimirovna Kuvaldina

- Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Stavropol Territory - Vladimir Evgenievich Yanushkin

The winners in the weight categories are:

- Students of accounting and finance faculty Tishkov Alexander and Repko Stanislav

- Students of the Faculty of Agrobiology Kolesnichenko Georgy, Nikulin Vitaly and Pavlyuchenko Danil

- Student of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering Kornilov Alexander

In the team event places are as follows.

- 1^st place Chechen Republic

- 2^nd place Stavropol State Agrarian University

- 3^rd place of Mikhailovsk

- 4^th place Ingushetia

- 5^th place Stavropol
