Students met with the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Sergey Ivanovich Kovalev in Stavropol State Agrarian University

The meeting was attended by more than 170 students of Accounting and Finance Faculty, Electrical Power Faculty and Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education.

Kovalev Sergey Ivanovich is already 93 years old, but he still continues to lead an active lifestyle, works a lot, spends time in the fresh air and even writes books. Over the past 3 years, Sergei Ivanovich has released as many as 4 products, each of which has enjoyed tremendous success with readers and has been reprinted several times.

Sergey Ivanovich is a labour veteran, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, an honorary resident of the village of Beshpagir, an honorary citizen of the Grachevsky district and an honorary veteran of the Stavropol Territory.

During the meeting, the veteran told the students about the events of those terrible years, how he got his first medal and how he captured a German officer. The students heard several stories about the military life of Sergey Ivanovich, which are described in detail in his books.

Sergey Ivanovich told university students how hard it was for the elderly, women and children to work in the rear, how they harvested supplies without any rest or sleep, how people worked in the fields without food and water, but still they were able to overcome all these Difficulties on the way to the great goal - victory in the Great Patriotic War!

At the end of the meeting, the students asked questions of interest to them, as well as the faces of the entire student body and faculty of the university congratulated Sergei Ivanovich on the upcoming holiday, Victory Day. The students wished the veteran to continue to live in the same active rhythm as they are now, to write many more beautiful and thought-provoking books about the Great feat of the Soviet people and, most importantly, good health!
