Students of the Accounting and Financial Faculty are among the winners of the International Competition

The results of the IV International Student Research Contest “Problems and Prospects for the Development of the Regional Economy in the Conditions of Instability”, organized by the Vologda State Milk Farming Academy named after N.V. Vereshchagin.

The main goal of the Competition is to stimulate the research work of students of higher educational institutions, create conditions for the disclosure of their creative abilities and increase students’ interest in their chosen profession.

The competition is held in absentia in the following categories:

- Banking;

- Insurance;

- Financial management;

- Economics of agricultural enterprises;

- Taxes and taxation;

- State and municipal finance;

- Accounting, analysis and audit;

- Financial markets

In the nomination “Accounting, Analysis and Audit”, Svetlana Nezhenets a 3^rd student of Accounting and Finance Faculty of the Accounting, Analysis and Audit direction was awarded a diploma for the research work “Inventory as an element of the internal control system in agricultural organization” (supervisor - head of the department “Financial Accounting”, Ph.D., Associate Professor Kulish N.V.).

Contest works of undergraduates of the 2 year of “Finance and Credit”, master’s program “Corporate Finance and Financial and Credit Institutions” - Dmitry Minchenko (supervisor - Head of the Department “Finance, Credit and Insurance”, Ph.D., associate professor Glotova I.I.) and Yulia Panarina (supervisor - Ph.D., Associate Professor of Finance, Credit and Insurance, Tomilina E.P.) were awarded I degree diplomas in the nomination “Financial Management”.

The research works of the 4^th year students of the “Economics” direction, the “Finance and Credit” profile prepared as part of the study of the “Insurance” discipline are awarded with diplomas in the nomination of the Competition of the same name.

- the diploma of the I degree is awarded to the competitive work of Masalova Anastasia on the topic: “Insurance in the conditions of the digital economy: state, forecasts, prospects” (supervisor - Ph.D., Associate Professor of the department “Finance, Credit and Insurance”).

- research work on the theme: “Improving the system of compulsory health insurance in Russia”, performed by Murzina Anastasia, was awarded a diploma of I degree, Emman Mesropyan and Elena Garmash were awarded diplomas of II degree (research supervisor - Ph.D., Associate Professor of Finance , Credit and Insurance” Klishina Yu.E.).

All participants of the competition were awarded diplomas and certificates, and their academic leaders were awarded with letters of thanks to the organizing committee of the competition.

The results of the participation of students in this competition confirm the level of acquired knowledge, competencies and practical skills in the field of finance and accounting.
