A solemn meeting devoted to Victory Day was held at the Agrarian University

May is the most victorious and joyful month of the year. On these warm days, the whole country thanks the heroes for a peaceful sky, and lights thousands of candles in honor of the memory of those who gave their lives for our peaceful future. A festive rally dedicated to Victory Day was held in the courtyard of the Agrarian University!

Victory Day is a landmark event in world history. Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten. In the courtyard of the Stavropol State Agrarian University gathered veterans, students and teachers, employees of the university. The university took part in the regional patriotic action “Blockade bread”.

At the Stele in Memory of teachers, staff and students who died during the war years, a traditional solemn meeting devoted to Victory Day was held.

Victory Waltz opened the event. More than 50 students of Stavropol State Agrarian University, therefore, decided to please the veterans, and to attract the attention of young people to the Great Holiday.

Then the heroes of the war, home front workers, students and teachers, were congratulated by the National Academic Choir of Stavropol State Agrarian University. They performed famous compositions dedicated to Victory Day.

The guests of honor were addressed to the guests:

· Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Professor - Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev

· Veteran of three wars, Associate Professor of the Department of Agricultural Mechanization Nikolai Vladimirovich Bugaychenko

· Chairman of the Council of War Veterans, there, the armed forces and law enforcement agencies of the Leninsky District of the city of Stavropol, a veteran of the armed forces of Russia, Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Ivanovich Sereda

· Veteran of the Russian Armed Forces, retired Major General, former Military Commissar of the Stavropol Territory Valentin Vasilyevich Marin.

The dead were honored with a minute of silence. Flowers from each department of the Agrarian University were laid at the memorial. Then the veterans went to the festive table, where they could taste “soldier’s mess” and “front 100 grams”.
