Research activities of students is an integral part of the development of the basic professional educational program of higher education. The participation of children in applied research allows you to acquire the skills of independent work, its presentation for discussion and practical application.
The contest was organized by the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance in the Stavropol State Agrarian University together with the Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.I. Vavilov, with the assistance of the companies BKS Premier in the city of Stavropol and the Rosgosstrakh in the Stavropol Territory.
The competition of student research projects is held for the fifth time and is aimed at helping to enhance the research activities of students, justify the directions of sustainable financial development of agricultural enterprises, and increase students' interest in their chosen profession. For the first time the Competition was held in April 2015, during its existence, more than 130 students from 12 regions of Russia took part in the Competition.
The competition was held in order to improve the educational process, increase the level of professional training of future specialists, develop students' creative abilities and their independent research skills.
In 2019, students and undergraduates from 8 Russian universities - Russian State Agrarian University, Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev, Volgograd State Agrarian University, Vologda State Dairy Academy named after N.V. Vereshchagin, Kuban State Agrarian University, Orlovsky State Agrarian University named after N.V. Parakhin, Saratov State Agrarian University named after O.N. Vavilov, Stavropol State Agrarian University, Chuvash State Agricultural Academy. Students presented their works in one of the following nominations:
- The financial market and its participants;
- Credit market and its segments;
- Insurance market;
- Agricultural insurance;- Stocks and bods market;
- The market of precious metals;
- Tax relations;
- Innovations in the financial market;
- Hedging risks.
Competitive works were evaluated by a highly professional jury, including leading scientists and specialists from Russian regions, including: Alexander Agibalov - Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head. Department of Finance and Credit in Voronezh State Agrarian University named after Emperor Peter I, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Alaykina Lyubov Nikolaevna - Associate Professor of the Department Accounting, Analysis and Audit in Saratov State Agrarian University named after N.I. Vavilov, Ph.D., Professor; Alexander Alexandrovich Gladilin - Chief Specialist of the Economic Department of the Branch for the Stavropol Territory of the Southern Central Administration of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, qualified financial market specialist in brokerage, dealer and securities management, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Stanislav Vladimirovich Grigoriev - Director of BKS Premier in the city of Stavropol; Ovcharenko Anna Petrovna - Deputy Director for Work with the staff of the branch of Rosgosstrakh in the Stavropol Territory.
As a result, the members of the expert committee made a decision on the distribution of prizes as follows. All winners and participants will be awarded with diplomas, certificates and certificates.The results of the student research will be presented at the VI All-Russian Student Annual Scientific-Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Development of financial science: debatable questions of contemporary research" in June 2019.
