An athletics relay race took place in Stavropol, for prizes from the Stavropolskaya Pravda newspaper. Competitions established by the newspaper in 1946. Students from the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the race. Schoolchildren, students of secondary schools and universities took part in the championship and the relay. The results went to the standings of the summer Olympics of Russian students.
Among universities students of Stavropol State Agrarian University won the first-place cup. The winners were awarded with cups and certificates, as well as certificates for a newspaper subscription.
