The introduction of German technology in agriculture was discussed at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory

On behalf of the Government of the region, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory with representatives of the German delegation of Bosch, headed by General Director Hans-Jürgen Overshtolts. The event was attended by: Vladimir Nikolaevich Sitnikov, Head of the Agrarian Department of the Territory, rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev.

The participants of the meeting discussed issues of cooperation and exchange of experience in the implementation of "smart" technologies in agricultural production.

The Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory made a welcoming speech. He noted that over the course of 5 years, the Stavropol region has been confidently moving in terms of increasing production volumes. Traditionally, in the production of grain, the Stavropol Territory is among the three major grain-producing regions of the country, taking into account the fact that 80% is food grain.

Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev also greeted foreign guests. He stressed that Stavropol State Agrarian University and Bosch have friendly and business relations.“I am grateful to your company for perseverance and insistence for the desire to be the first, the best in quality issues. Recently, local companies have grown, rose to their feet, took a confident position. The region looks solid in the economic arena of the Russian Federation. Our task is to find stable points of interaction," - added the rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

From the German side, Hans-Jürgen Overstölz addressed the meeting participants with an opening speech. He stressed that companies are interested in business innovation and the introduction of modern technologies in agriculture.
