The Forum: “Prospects for socio-economic development and the role of science: economic discourse” was organized by the free economic society of Russia, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the International Union of Economists.
For the first time, the Free Economic Society of Russia, together with the Russian Academy of Sciences and the International Union of Economists, organized the Moscow Academic Economic Forum (MAEF), which was attended by leading scientists and experts from Russia and the world, young researchers, representatives of federal legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation, and regional administrations , representatives of the educational community of Russia, business circles, international and Russian public organizations.
The topic of the forum: “Prospects for socio-economic development and the role of science: academic discourse”, in accordance with which the main goal was defined - the organization of an international scientific expert discussion on the definition of key trajectories for the development of economic theory and practice.
The Faculty of Economics of the Stavropol State Agrarian University together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory under the program of the forum organized the MAEF regional platform “The role of agribusiness in the integrated development of rural areas”.
The moderator of the MAEF regional site in Stavropol was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Kusakina Olga Nikolaevna, who noted the importance of holding this event and outlined the key problems of the socio-economic development of the agricultural sector. The meeting was attended by scientists of the Faculty of Economics, a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as students - the future of the agrarian economy.
Olga Y. Batagova, Head of the Economic Analysis and Forecasting Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, presented the state and development trends of the agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory.
The following participants took part in the work of the MAEF regional platform:
· Lugovskoy Sergey Ivanovich, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Administration and Law of the SSAU with a report on the topic “Multifunctional development as a condition for strengthening the socio-economic environment of rural areas”;
· Nazarenko Anton Vladimirovich, Head of the Department of Management at the SSAU, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor with a report on the topic “Development Trends of the Grape and Wine Market of the Russian AIC”;
· Gruzkov Igor Vladimirovich, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Economics of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the State Agrarian University, with a report on the topic “Transformation of the“ Economic Man ”in the Digital Economy”;
· Tenischev Alexander Vladimirovich, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy at the SSAU with a report on the topic “Problems of the development of innovative entrepreneurship in the Stavropol Territory”.
In the course of the scientific and practical discussion the parameters of the new model of socio-economic development of rural areas were justified, taking into account regional characteristics and the sectoral structure of their economic mechanism.
At the end of the event, Olga Nikolaevna thanked all the participants for their interest and wished them further success in their research activities in forming the economic science paradigm adequate to the challenges of our time.
